Ms. Rosignol trained at Florida State University where she studied ballet, pointe and modern dance. She holds the title of runner-up Ms. Dance in the 1992 Florida Dance Masters Association competition, a prestigious title awarded to highly regarded and trained dancers. She is also an accomplished jazz and tap dancer familiar with the jazz styles of Gus Giordano, Bob Rizzo, and has performed the choreography of these and other jazz greats such as Bob Fosse and Michael Bennett. Her ballet credits include corp de ballet for Miami City Ballet, Southern Ballet Theatre, and Marion Ballet Theater.
As director of Studio 19 Centre for Performing Arts, Ms. Rosignol has used her expertise as a former ballet/pointe dancer to create a strong ballet curriculum for the after-school dancer based on Vaganova and classical Russian ballet techniques. She has developed a complement to Studio 19's classical training through its "Styles" program. |
